Lingam also spelled as Linga, in Hinduism is a votary object that symbolizes the god shiva and it revered as an emblem of generative power. It is typically the primary murti or cult image in Hindu temples dedicated to Shiva, also found in smaller shrines, or as self-manifested natural objects. Normally the oval shaped brass is the symbol of the universe, and the bottom base represents the supreme power that holds the entire universe in it. Shivalinga also have five face of Shiva which represents the temple Pashupatinath. Pashupatinath temple is the temple of god Shiva.
